Channels is a collection of 11 compositions that draw on the Kabbalist “Tree of Life” to establish a conceptual framework: A musical exploration of human connection in a technological age. The music was created exclusively using the software synthesizer called Hive made by U-He, a Berlin based software company. All of the sounds used in the album are from the Tarot Sound Set - a collection of sounds designed for Hive by composer and musician Alexander Hacke.

The album artwork - created by Mike Gangwere, is a modern re-imagining of the tree with compositions corresponding to each of the 10 points of intersection which are seen as qualities of human relationships.
